Searching for Betzone sister sites is more confusing than it should be because many pages still list bookmakers that were connected to Betzone years ago.
The current answer is simpler: the Betzone online sportsbook is closed, so it has no active online sister sites today.
Betzone closed its online operation on 7 December 2025 after previously moving away from the Playbook Gaming network.
Several former Betzone connections still exist as independent bookmakers, while others have also closed. So instead of giving you a list of unrelated “alternatives”, we checked where the old Betzone network actually stands now.

Does Betzone Have Any Sister Sites Today?
No active online bookmakers currently operate as genuine Betzone sister sites.
Betzone was previously one of several domains operating through Playbook Gaming Limited, UKGC account 50122.
The Gambling Commission now marks every domain on that former Playbook account as inactive:

You can check the current status directly on the UK Gambling Commission’s Playbook Gaming domain register.
That does not mean all seven brands disappeared.
It means they no longer operate together through that old Playbook Gaming licence. Some subsequently obtained their own licences, some changed operators and some closed completely.
Former Betzone Sister Sites — Where Are They Now?
This is more useful than simply repeating an old sister-site list.

The important point is that the old network has broken apart.
These brands should no longer be presented as if they are all current sister sites sharing one account.
DragonBet
DragonBet was part of the old Playbook Gaming group, but it now operates separately through DragonBet Ltd, UKGC account 64908.
Its current licence includes active casino, real-event betting and virtual-event betting permissions.
So DragonBet remains an active UK bookmaker, but it is now better described as a former Betzone sister brand, not a current sister site.

Planet Sport Bet
Planet Sport Bet also survived the breakup of the old Playbook network.
It now operates through Planet Bet Limited, UKGC account 65109, which currently holds active remote bingo, casino, real-event betting and virtual-event betting permissions.
Again, this means Planet Sport Bet is no longer simply another site on Betzone’s old shared licence.
It is now independently licensed.
Bet Vickers
Vickers is another example of why an old Betzone sister-site list can be misleading.
Its former vickers.bet domain appears as inactive on Playbook Gaming’s old account, but the bookmaker now operates through J R & S Leisure Ltd, account 66877.
The current licence includes active remote betting and casino permissions as well as a non-remote betting licence.

BresBet
BresBet requires an especially important update because its situation changed very recently.
After leaving the old Playbook Gaming setup, BresBet operated through its own licence.
However, the Gambling Commission suspended BresBet Ltd’s operating licence on 28 August 2026, and the company subsequently surrendered the licence on 4 September 2026.
That means articles still recommending BresBet as a current Betzone alternative are already outdated.
We would therefore not include BresBet as an active Betzone sister site or current licensed replacement.
Why Do Other Betzone Sister-Site Lists Show Different Brands?
Most of the confusion comes from mixing several periods of Betzone’s history together.
The old Playbook Gaming period
Betzone previously appeared alongside:
- BresBet
- DragonBet
- Planet Sport Bet
- Rhino Bet
- Vickers
- YeeeHaaa Bet
under Playbook Gaming’s UKGC account.
At that point, calling them sister or connected sites made sense.
Betzone later left that network
Betzone subsequently moved away from the Playbook arrangement and operated through Richmond Atlantic Ltd, UKGC account 65056.
The online Betzone operation eventually closed in December 2025. Richmond Atlantic’s remote licences currently shown on the UKGC register are surrendered.
By that stage, the old Playbook list was already becoming historical rather than a list of current sister sites.
The former brands then went in different directions
DragonBet, Planet Sport Bet and Bet Vickers now operate through different licensed companies.
BresBet obtained its own licence but surrendered it in September 2026.
Other former Playbook domains became inactive.
So a page that still says “Betzone has six sister sites” is describing an old arrangement, not the UK market today.
Why Are Betzone Betting Shops Still Open If Betzone Online Closed?
This is probably the most confusing part.
You can still see Betzone-branded betting shops in the UK, even though the Betzone online bookmaker is closed.
That is because the retail operation sits under a different company.
The Gambling Commission currently lists numerous physical Betzone betting shops under Megabet UK Limited, account 915. Examples include premises in Hastings, Didcot, Brighton, Northwich, Liverpool, Newbury and other locations.
Megabet UK Limited currently holds active non-remote betting and ancillary remote permissions.
So:
Betzone online sportsbook: closed.
Betzone-branded physical betting shops: still appear on the UKGC premises register under Megabet UK Limited.
They should not be treated as evidence that betzone.co.uk is still an active online bookmaker.
Does Using the Same Betting Platform Make a Site a Betzone Sister Site?
No.
This is another distinction worth making.
A bookmaker can use technology supplied by the same betting-platform company without sharing the same owner or gambling licence.
After the old Playbook network was reorganised, several brands continued with their own licences even where technology or historical connections remained.
So when deciding whether two bookmakers are genuinely sister sites, we look first at:
- the licensed operator;
- the current UKGC account;
- ownership where it can be verified;
- current domain status;
- whether the relationship is historical or still active.
Shared software alone is not enough.
So, What Are the Betzone Sister Sites?
Betzone does not have any current online sister sites because its online bookmaker closed in December 2025.
Historically, Betzone was connected through Playbook Gaming with BresBet, DragonBet, Planet Sport Bet, Rhino Bet, Vickers and YeeeHaaa Bet.
That old network no longer exists in the same form.
DragonBet, Planet Sport Bet and Bet Vickers remain active but now operate through separate UK licences. BresBet surrendered its licence in September 2026, while the old Rhino Bet and YeeeHaaa domains are inactive on Playbook Gaming’s former account.
And if you still see a Betzone shop on the high street, that isn’t a contradiction: the physical Betzone premises operate under Megabet UK Limited, separately from the closed online sportsbook.
That’s why the most accurate answer in 2026 isn’t a list of six “current Betzone sister sites”.
It’s a list of former connections and what happened to them.
