Calculate the potential return from a Lucky 15 using four selections and your chosen stake. Enter the odds, set each result and see your total stake, returns and profit instantly.
4 singles · 6 doubles · 4 trebles · 1 four-fold
A Lucky 15 combines four selections into every single, double, treble and four-fold available from those four choices. That produces 15 separate betting lines.
The four singles are the important difference between a Lucky 15 and a Yankee. If only one of your four selections wins, its single can still return money. That does not necessarily mean the overall Lucky 15 makes a profit — the return can still be smaller than the total amount staked.
This calculator works line by line rather than simply multiplying all four odds together. That is why it can show how much came from singles, doubles, trebles and the four-fold separately.
The fastest calculation needs only a unit stake and four prices. Results can then be added to calculate an actual settled return.
This is the amount staked on each betting line. A £1 win-only Lucky 15 therefore costs £15, not £1.
Use fractional or decimal odds. Switching the odds format in the calculator converts the prices already entered.
Leave selections pending for a potential-return calculation, or mark them won, lost, placed or non-runner as appropriate.
Each-way mode adds a second set of 15 place bets, increasing the Lucky 15 to 30 betting lines.
Lucky 15 concessions vary by bookmaker. Use the optional bonus controls only when they match the terms of your actual bet.
The result panel separates stake, return, profit or loss, bonus and returns from each type of multiple.
For a standard win-only Lucky 15, multiply the unit stake by 15. For an each-way Lucky 15, multiply it by 30.
| Unit stake | Win-only Lucky 15 | Each-way Lucky 15 |
|---|---|---|
| £0.50 | £7.50 | £15.00 |
| £1 | £15.00 | £30.00 |
| £2 | £30.00 | £60.00 |
| £5 | £75.00 | £150.00 |
If a bookmaker bet slip asks for a stake, check whether it means the unit stake or the total stake. The calculator labels both separately so the £1 × 15 calculation is clear.
The number of winners tells you how many combinations can return, but it does not tell you the payout. The actual return still depends on the odds of the selections that won.
1 single can return. The other 14 lines lose unless bookmaker-specific concessions change the settlement.
2 singles + 1 double can return. That gives 3 winning lines.
3 singles + 3 doubles + 1 treble can return: 7 winning lines.
All 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and the four-fold return: all 15 lines.
Consider a £1 unit stake on four selections priced at 3/1, 5/1, 4/1 and 2/1. The total stake is £15.
The three winning singles return £4, £6 and £3, for £13 from singles.
The three doubles containing only winners return £24, £12 and £18, giving £54 from doubles.
One treble contains all three winners: 4.00 × 6.00 × 3.00 × £1 = £72.
The four-fold loses because Selection 3 lost.
This matters when comparing a calculator result with a bookmaker bet slip. A calculator can only use the prices and settlement information entered into it.
A £1 winning single at 3/1 returns £4: £3 winnings plus the £1 stake. Profit is calculated separately from total return.
When results are still pending, the calculator treats those selections as winners only to show a potential return. It is not a prediction that they will win.
For estimation, a selected non-runner is treated as a 1.00 leg in a multiple. Your bookmaker's own rules remain the authority for actual settlement.
Only activate a one-winner or all-winners bonus when your bookmaker actually offers that concession and your bet qualifies for it.
An each-way Lucky 15 is effectively a win Lucky 15 and a place Lucky 15 placed together. Instead of 15 betting lines, there are 30: 15 win parts and 15 place parts.
For a winning selection, both the win and place parts can return. If a selection places without winning, only its place part can return.
Place odds are a fraction of the win odds. For example, a horse priced at 8/1 at 1/4 place odds has a 2/1 place component. At 1/5 place odds, the same 8/1 price has an 8/5 place component.
The calculator lets you choose the place fraction and mark a selection as Placed. You should only mark it placed after checking that it finished inside the number of places paid under your bookmaker's terms.
There is no single bonus rule that should automatically be applied to every Lucky 15.
Some operators may offer an enhanced return when exactly one selection wins. Others may offer an uplift if all four selections win. Eligibility, minimum prices, sports, each-way treatment and the part of the return to which the bonus applies can all vary.
That is why our calculator leaves these settings under Advanced settlement & bookmaker bonuses rather than adding an assumed bonus to every result.
For a settled bet, use the terms displayed by the bookmaker. UK-licensed operators are required to make their betting rules available, including rules covering place betting, withdrawals/non-runners and deductions from winnings. See the Gambling Commission's betting-rules requirement.
Odds alone are not always enough to reproduce a settled horse-racing payout. These are three situations worth checking before assuming a calculator figure should exactly match the bookmaker.
A void selection is generally removed from the relevant multiple for calculation purposes, but operator rules determine the final treatment. Mark a confirmed non-runner as NR rather than as a losing selection.
A late withdrawal can lead to a deduction from winnings on affected bets. The deduction is not the same thing as simply replacing your original odds with a lower price.
When selections share a finishing position, dead-heat settlement can reduce the effective winning stake. Use our dedicated dead heat calculator when this applies.
These bets can use similar selections, but the number of betting lines — and therefore the total stake — is very different.
| Bet | Selections | Singles? | Total bets | Minimum winners for a standard return |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lucky 15 | 4 | Yes | 15 | 1 |
| Yankee | 4 | No | 11 | 2 |
| Four-fold accumulator | 4 | No | 1 | All 4 |
| Lucky 31 | 5 | Yes | 31 | 1 |
“Minimum winners” describes the normal bet structure only. Bookmaker concessions or settlement adjustments can change an individual payout.
Yes. A Lucky 15 describes the combination of four selections; it is not restricted to horse racing.
Four football selections might be four match winners, goals markets or other selections accepted by the bookmaker. The same 15 combinations are then created: four singles, six doubles, four trebles and one four-fold.
What matters is whether the bookmaker allows those selections to be combined. Related or dependent selections may be restricted, so always check the bet slip before treating four markets as a valid Lucky 15.
If you only want to calculate a single accumulator rather than all 15 combinations, use the betting parlay calculator instead.
Lucky 15 settlement can involve several different calculations. These BetBuzz24 tools cover the parts that sit outside the standard Lucky 15 calculation.
A Lucky 15 contains 15 individual bets from four selections: 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 four-fold.
A £1 win-only Lucky 15 costs £15 because the £1 unit stake is applied to each of the 15 betting lines.
A £1 each-way Lucky 15 costs £30. There are 15 win lines and 15 place lines, giving 30 individual stakes of £1.
Yes. One winning selection can return from its single bet because singles are included in a Lucky 15. However, that return can still be lower than your total stake, so one winner does not guarantee an overall profit.
With two winners, the two winning singles and the double containing those two selections can return. The other 12 lines contain at least one losing selection.
Three winners produce three winning singles, three winning doubles and one winning treble. That gives seven returning lines before any bookmaker-specific concession.
All 15 betting lines return: four singles, six doubles, four trebles and the four-fold. A separate bonus may apply only if your bookmaker offers one and your bet meets its terms.
No universal bonus should be assumed. Concessions and eligibility rules vary by operator, so use the bonus controls only when they match the terms shown by your bookmaker.
The treatment is governed by the bookmaker's settlement rules. For estimation, our calculator treats a confirmed non-runner as a void 1.00 leg rather than a losing selection.
Yes. Select Each Way in the calculator and choose the relevant place fraction. An each-way Lucky 15 contains 30 betting lines: 15 win parts and 15 place parts.
Final payouts can be affected by bookmaker-specific concessions, each-way place terms, non-runners, Rule 4 deductions, dead heats or other settlement rules. Use the bookmaker's final settlement as the authoritative figure.
Yes. The Lucky 15 structure can be used with four eligible football selections if the bookmaker allows them to be combined. The same 15 single and multiple combinations apply.
