Yes. FanTeam is not an anonymous offshore betting site.

The UK Gambling Commission currently lists Scout Limited, account 39669, with active remote licences covering real-event betting, pool betting, virtual-event betting and gambling software.

FanTeam's Current UKGC Record and Older Enforcement

The current UKGC page for Scout Limited states that no regulatory actions are recorded for the business.

There is also older historical context worth knowing. The UK government's 2023 gambling reform white paper referenced Scout Ltd among operators involved in marketing-related Gambling Commission enforcement during 2022/23.

We would not use an older marketing issue to suggest FanTeam's current licence is unsafe. Its licence remains active today. But an independent review should not quietly erase historical regulatory information simply because it is inconvenient.

Who Owns FanTeam in 2026?

This is one area where old FanTeam reviews can already be out of date.

FanTeam continues to be operated in Britain by Scout Limited, but the wider Scout business changed ownership in 2026.

On 23 April 2026, ImpactWin Group announced that it had completed its acquisition of 100% of Scout Holding Ltd, including its operations and subsidiaries.

ImpactWin said its plans included further development of Scout's products, improvements to the user experience and modernisation of the platform.

Is FanTeam owned by bet365?

We found no evidence that bet365 owns FanTeam.

The confusion is understandable because players have noticed similarities between fantasy products offered across different betting platforms. But the current corporate trail points to Scout Limited and ImpactWin, not bet365.

What Is FanTeam Actually Good For?

This is the part that separates FanTeam from another interchangeable sportsbook.

FanTeam combines a conventional betting account with real-money Daily Fantasy Sports. Its current iOS listing describes daily, weekly and season-long fantasy contests alongside sportsbook betting.

Recent FanTeam community activity also shows that the fantasy side is not simply an old product left online after the ownership change. FISO currently has active discussions around 2026/27 EPL, Champions League and NFL FanTeam competitions.

Is FanTeam DFS easy for beginners?

The rules may be easy to understand. The competition is not necessarily easy.

FanTeam's Trustpilot profile was 2.2/5 from 39 reviews when we checked it. Forty-nine percent of reviews were one-star, while 38% were five-star. That is not a normal middle-of-the-road distribution; it is highly polarised.

Recent negative reports include complaints about:

This is particularly relevant because recent customer discussions include both people saying offers were received normally and others saying expected rewards did not appear.

Is the FanTeam App Still Active?

Yes.

The current UK App Store listing describes FanTeam as a combined Fantasy Sports & Sportsbook app. At the time checked it showed a 3.0/5 rating from 31 ratings.

The important signal is not the rating alone. The app remains live and maintained after the 2026 ownership change, which suggests the consumer product has not simply been abandoned.

Is FanTeam Worth Using in 2026?

If you arrived here because you were worried FanTeam might be a fake or unlicensed betting site, that is not what the current evidence shows. FanTeam is listed as active under Scout Limited's UK Gambling Commission account.

The harder question is whether it is the right platform for you.

FanTeam is most interesting if you genuinely want Daily Fantasy Sports. Its combination of fantasy contests and betting still gives it a distinct place in the UK market, and current 2026/27 community activity shows those competitions are still being played.

If you mainly want conventional sports betting, we are less convinced. Market breadth is not its biggest strength, and recent complaints around withdrawals, verification and support are frequent enough that they should be considered before depositing.
