The Premier League clean sheet table compares how often each club has finished a league match without conceding a goal. Use the filters above to compare the full season or a team's more recent defensive record.
A season-long defensive record and a recent defensive run can tell very different stories. The period controls let you compare both.
Uses every completed Premier League match played by the club during the current 2026/27 league season.
Uses only each club's five most recent completed league matches, giving a quicker view of current defensive form.
Uses a larger recent sample, reducing the effect of one unusual score compared with the Last 5 table.
Defensive records often change by venue, so the table can separate home and away league matches rather than relying only on the overall season total.
Select Home to calculate each club's clean-sheet total and percentage using only completed Premier League matches played at home.
Last 5 + Home means the club's five most recent home league matches.
Select Away to see the same defensive statistics using only completed matches where the club played away.
This can reveal teams whose overall clean-sheet total is driven mainly by results at one venue.
A club records a clean sheet when it completes a Premier League match without conceding a goal. Scores such as 1–0, 2–0 and 0–0 all count as clean sheets for the team that allowed zero goals.
The clean-sheet percentage is calculated as:
For example, five clean sheets from ten selected matches produces a clean-sheet rate of 50%.
Clubs are ranked first by the number of clean sheets recorded within the selected period.
When clean-sheet totals are equal, BetBuzz24 uses clean-sheet percentage, followed by fewer goals conceded, to order the teams.
Measures how often a team prevented the opponent from scoring completely.
A 1–0 win and a 0–0 draw both add one clean sheet.
Measures the total number of opposition goals allowed across the selected matches.
Two teams can therefore have the same clean-sheet total but very different overall defensive records.
No. The figures above are historical Premier League clean-sheet statistics, not bookmaker prices or probabilities for upcoming matches.
Clean-sheet odds can change according to the opponent, venue, team news, market movement and the bookmaker offering the price. A team's historical clean-sheet percentage should therefore not be presented as the odds of keeping a clean sheet in its next match.
If you need help converting a bookmaker price into implied probability, use the BetBuzz24 betting odds calculator.
The table can be used as background information when comparing Premier League defensive records, but it is not an FPL points calculator or a prediction of future Fantasy Premier League clean-sheet points.
It shows what clubs have actually done in completed league matches. Future fixtures, player minutes, substitutions and FPL scoring rules are not part of this calculation.
The table uses completed Premier League results from the BetBuzz24 football data feed. Unplayed fixtures and scores entered into our table predictor are not included.
When a new league result enters the feed, the relevant club totals and recent clean-sheet run are recalculated automatically.
You can also compare results with the official Premier League table.
A Premier League team records a clean sheet when it completes a league match without conceding a goal. Both a win such as 2–0 and a 0–0 draw count as clean sheets.
Clean-sheet percentage is the number of clean sheets divided by the number of matches included in the selected period, multiplied by 100.
Yes. Select Last 5 to calculate each club's clean-sheet record from its five most recent completed Premier League matches.
Yes. The Home and Away filters recalculate each club's clean-sheet statistics using only matches played at the selected venue.
Yes. Both teams record a clean sheet in a 0–0 draw because neither side conceded a goal.
No. Clean-sheet stats describe completed matches, while clean-sheet odds are bookmaker prices for a future outcome. Historical clean-sheet percentage is not automatically the probability of the next match ending in a clean sheet.
No. Only completed Premier League results are included. Predictions entered into the BetBuzz24 Premier League table predictor do not affect these statistics.
The statistics update as completed Premier League results become available in the BetBuzz24 football data feed.
